1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using QR Code Generator at qr-code.sh ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

QR Code Generator provides a web-based service for creating customizable QR codes with features including:

  • QR code generation with custom colors and logos
  • Persistent redirect URLs that can be edited
  • Click analytics and tracking
  • Free tier (7-day expiration) and paid subscription options

3. User Accounts

To use certain features, you must create an account using your email address. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Providing accurate and current information

4. Free and Paid Services

Free Tier: QR codes created without a subscription are active for 7 days. After expiration, they will display an expired message when scanned.

Paid Subscription: Subscribers receive extended QR code limits and permanent links that do not expire as long as the subscription remains active. Subscription fees are billed annually through our payment processor, Paddle.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Create QR codes linking to illegal, harmful, or malicious content
  • Distribute malware, phishing attempts, or fraudulent schemes
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use automated systems to abuse the Service
  • Create QR codes for spam or unsolicited advertising

We reserve the right to terminate accounts and remove QR codes that violate these terms.

6. Payment and Refunds

Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. By subscribing, you agree to Paddle's terms of service. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled.

Refunds: We offer refunds within 14 days of purchase if you are unsatisfied with the Service. Contact us to request a refund.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your QR codes will remain active until the end of your billing period, after which they will expire.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you upload (logos, URLs). By using the Service, you grant us a license to process and display your content as necessary to provide the Service.

The Service, including its design, features, and code, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • QR codes will always be scannable by all devices
  • The Service will meet all your requirements

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through your dashboard settings.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, binding arbitration.
